Men’s Soccer 2024 Schedule Announced

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware men's soccer has released the schedule for the 2024 season, head coach Tommy McMenemy announced Tuesday. The season entails 16 games with eight played at home in Newark, eight played with non-conference opponents, and eight played with CAA rivals. To view the full schedule, click here.
The home opener on Aug. 22 brings Howard back to Newark eleven years after the Hens won the last matchup 7-1 in 2013.
Following the home opener, Delaware will travel to Rutgers (Aug. 26) and George Mason (Aug. 30). The Hens will then return home on Sept. 3 to play Saint Peter's before heading north to Le Moyne Sept. 7. Mount St. Mary's (Sept. 10), NJIT (Oct. 1), and George Washington (Oct. 15) round out the non-league schedule.
As Delaware enters its final year in the Coastal Athletic Association, four CAA teams — Elon (Sept. 14), Campbell (Sept. 28), UNCW (Oct. 11), and Drexel (Oct. 25) — will visit Newark one last time as conference foes. The Blue & Gold will go on the road to wrap its CAA road games against Charleston (Sept. 21), Monmouth (Oct. 5), Northeastern (Oct. 19), and Hofstra (Nov. 2).
The 2024 fall promotional schedule will be released soon with many opportunities to cheer on the Hens this season for free.
