NEWARK, Del. – Eleven second-half turnovers from the University of Delaware men's basketball team was the difference in a 76-66 loss to Towson Thursday night in the Bob Carpenter Center. The Blue Hens dip to 11-11 overall and 4-5 in league play, while the Tigers enhance their league leading record to 8-1 and 13-9 overall.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

John Camden led all Hens with 17 points. He also had a team-high six rebounds.
Niels Lane (13), Erik Timko (12), and Izaiah Pasha (12) also scored in double figures.

HOW IT HAPPENED

It remained a one-possession game until Delaware pulled ahead 31-25 with 3:11 left in the opening frame. UD would run into the locker room with a 33-29 advantage.
Towson used a 7-0 advantage over 1:53 to pull back in front 46-42 at the under-12 timeout. With the Blue & Gold down six, they rallied off a 14-3 margin over 4:23 to pull ahead 59-54 with 5:21 remaining. The Tigers pounced back and outscored UD 22-7 the rest of the way.

GAME NOTES

Camden tied his career mark with three steals.
