Cousins Earns All-CAA Second Team Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Delaware women's basketball captain Tara Cousins has been named to the 2024-25 All-CAA Second Team, the league announced Tuesday.
Cousins averaged 11.1 points, 4.1 assists, and 2.9 rebounds per game on the campaign, while chipping in 1.4 steals per game on the defensive end. She was tied for second on the Hens with 19 double-digit point showings, including seven at 15 or better, and a pair at 20-plus. The Washington, D.C. native shot 39-percent from the field and 35.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Cousins and the seventh-seeded Hens return to action Thursday against 10th-seeded UNCW in the second round of the 2025 Credit Union 1 CAA Women's Basketball Championship at 6 p.m. from CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.
