Sherrill Receives CAA Women's Co-Rookie Diver of the Year Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – The Coastal Athletic Association announces Delaware athlete Peyton Sherrill was named the conferences Co-Rookie Women's Diver of the Year, the league announced on Thursday.
Sherrill is the second Blue Hen over the last two seasons, and third since 2021, to receive the honors. Keira Allison received the honor back in 2023, and Julia Servas did back in 2021.
Sherrill had a season best score of 265.95 in the one-meter dive against West Chester back on Dec. 6, 2024. The score earned her a spot to compete in the NCAA diving zones.
The freshman from Mullica Hills, N.J. earned top 10 finishes in the 1-meter dive (246.35) and 3-meter dive (249.95) at the CAA Championships.
