NEWARK, Del. – Fresh off its first tournament win in four seasons, the University of Delaware men's golf team will look to carry its momentum into the 2025 CAA Championship this weekend. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held April 20-22 at The Union League Golf Club in Swainton, New Jersey.
Delaware has had a great season leading up to the CAA Championship, recording eight top-five finishes in eight of its nine tournaments. Four of those top-five finishes took place this spring when the team carded five team rounds under par and saw an improvement of nearly eight strokes per round. The Blue Hens are coming off their first win since the 2021-22 season when they won the Rutherford Intercollegiate last weekend. UD turned in a three-round team score of 3-under par 849, the fifth-best 54-hole score in program history.

He has shot under par in four rounds during UD's last three tournaments, including a season-best 68 in the second round during his runner-up finish at the Testudo Cup when he carded a career-best 5-under par and earned CAA Men's Golfer of the Week

Iampongsai is coming off his best performance of the season, finishing fourth at the Rutherford Intercollegiate with a 2-under par.
