Olamide Ayeni Competes in the First Round of the NCAA Track & Field Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Throws athlete Olamide Ayeni competed in the discus throw at the first round of the NCAA Track & Field Championships on Saturday.
Ayeni finished with a mark of 48.12 meters, finishing in 31st place. Click here to view the full results.Â
Ayeni, along with her teammate Emarie Jackson, represented the track & field program at the first round of the NCAA Championships this week. The team has had at least one athlete representative at the NCAA First Round in every year since 2016 (with the exception of 2020, due to COVID).Â
