2025 Men’s Soccer Schedule Revealed; Blue Hens to Play 100th Season and First in The Summit League

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's soccer 2025 schedule has been revealed, head coach Tommy McMenemy announced Thursday. This season will serve as the 100th season in program history and first in The Summit League. The full schedule can be viewed on bluehens.com.
The Blue Hens will play 16 contests during the 2025 under fourth-year head coach McMenemy, with eight taking place at Stuart and Suzanne Grant Stadium.
The 2025 schedule will feature four teams on the docket that earned spots in last season's final United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll.
UD will start the campaign against Le Moyne at home on Thursday, August 21.
The squad will travel north on I-95 for its first road contest of the year as it takes on Temple on August 24.
After their battle against the Owls, the Hens return to the 302 for three-consecutive home games against Loyola (Md.) (Sept. 2), American (Sept. 6), and Penn (Sept. 9).
The Blue & Gold follow the home stretch up with three-straight road matches. McMenemy's group will travel south for all three, taking on Howard (Sept. 13), Mount St. Mary's (Sept. 16), and George Washington (Sept. 23).
Delaware will host its first game as a member of The Summit League when UMass comes to Newark on September 27.
Wrapping up the month will be UD's final Division I non-conference road matchup of the year at Lehigh (Sept. 30).
The Hens will have 10 days off before heading west to take on new conference foe and reigning regular season champions, the University of Denver on October 11.
The Hens' first two conference opponents, UMass and Denver, battled against one another in the 2024 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, where the 'Pios came out on top, 3-0.
After the weekend in the Centennial State, the Blue & Gold will return home to host local Division III Neumann University (Oct. 14) and conference foe Omaha (Oct. 18).
The Blue Hens will travel to Oklahoma to take on Oral Roberts (Oct. 25) before returning home to host St. Thomas (Nov. 1).
UD will end the regular season in Missouri against the defending conference champion UMKC Roos on November 5.
The Summit League Championship Semifinals will be hosted on the campus sites of the highest two seeds. The Summit League Championship Final will be on Saturday, November 15 on the home turf of the highest remaining seed.
