NEWARK, Del. – Sophia Muscolino and Ella Rishko had career performances and the University of Delaware women's lacrosse team scored 14 unanswered goals over the final three quarters on its way to a dominant 17-5 victory over Mount St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon at Delaware stadium. With the win, UD moves to 3-4 on the season, while the Mount falls to 4-4.
ON THE RECORD
"Today was another great team win for the Hens," head coach Amy Altig said. "Ten different goal scorers, Molly with nine draw controls, and the defense holding them to zero goals through the final three quarters was huge. The continued energy across our sideline was a big asset today. It's great to get another win before we start our conference play next week!"
