Men's Lacrosse Alum Tye Kurtz Signs with PLL's Boston Cannons

BOSTON — University of Delaware men's lacrosse alum Tye Kurtz (2019-23) signed with the Boston Cannons of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), the organization announced Friday. Kurtz previously suited up for the Carolina Chaos for two seasons.
Kurtz is the all-time leading point scorer for the Fightin' Blue Hens with 282, while sitting second in program history in goals (180) and tied for fifth in assists (102). The Puslinch, Ontario native is one of three players in program history to have 100 goals and 100 assists.
A 2023 Third Team All-American and First Team All-CAA honoree, Kurtz took home CAA Offensive Player of the Year honors that same season. In Kurtz's tenure in the 302, the Hens won three-consecutive CAA Regular Season titles (2021-23) and back-to-back CAA Conference Tournament Championships (2022 and 2023).
In two seasons for the Chaos from 2023-24, Kurtz tallied 21 goals and 29 points in 15 games played.
