Drew Coble joined the Delaware coaching staff in August 2025. He arrives in Newark after a decorated playing career at Grand Valley State University.
Coble was a student-athlete for the Lakers for six years and was a six-time all-conference performer, including four selections to the All-GLIAC First Team. He was named the GLIAC Golfer of the Year in each of his final two seasons and was the GLIAC Freshman of the Year in 2021. Coble earned four PING All-Region honors and was a PING First Team All-American, as well as a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus DII National Player of the Year in 2024. He also earned PING Second Team All-America honors in 2025. Off the golf course, Coble was named a CSC Academic All-American in both 2024 and 2025 and five-time GLIAC All-Academic recipient.
Over the course of his career, Coble competed in 60 tournaments and finished with six wins and 28 total top-10 finishes. He holds the GVSU record for a single round, carding a 7-under par 64 at the 2021 GLIAC Championship.
A native of Lake Orion, Michigan, Coble received his degree in sport management from Grand Valley State in December 2023, graduating with cum laude honors. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communications.
