Joe Tornetta joined the Blue Hens in August 2017 as an assistant coach and finished his second year at Delaware in 2019.
· Responsibilities: Development of defensive unit, coordination of recruiting efforts, game scouting, compliance liaison
· Comes to the Blue Hens with an extensive coaching resume
· Held 458-116-14 (.791) record over 27-year high school coaching career at Great Valley and Owen J. Roberts (Pa.)
· Led teams to 11 league championships and two Pennsylvania state titles
· Seven-time Girl's Lacrosse Coach of the Year
· Coached 24 All-Americans
