Amber Dubois joined the Communications and Creative Services department at Delaware in August 2021. She serves as the primary contact for field hockey, women’s lacrosse, and swimming and diving.
Prior to arriving in Newark, Dubois spent two years as the Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at the University of North Florida. While at UNF, she was the primary contact for women’s tennis, cross country and track & field, while also serving as the secondary contact for softball.
In her second year at North Florida, Dubois covered the 2020 Men’s Cross Country ASUN Championship team which saw its first runner qualify for the NCAA Championship. She additionally worked with the nine-time women’s tennis ASUN Champions after the Ospreys won their sixth-straight title in 2021. Dubois also served as the contact for the NCAA East Preliminary Outdoor Track & Field Championship when UNF hosted the event in the spring of 2021.
Before joining the Ospreys, she worked as a sports information student assistant and public address announcer at Guilford College for three years. As a student, Dubois also spent the fall semester of her senior year as a Football Game Day Operations and Communications Intern with the Atlantic Coast Conference. She additionally gained experience as a Media Relations Intern at Towson University in the summer of 2018 .
In 2018, Dubois received a grant from the NCAA to attend the DIII Student Program at the CoSIDA Convention. More recently, she was one of three students chosen as a CoSIDA Postgraduate Scholarship recipient for the 2020-21 academic year.
While at Guilford, Dubois was a four-year starter as a defender for the Quakers’ women’s lacrosse team. She was an eight-time member of Guilford’s Student-Athlete Honor Roll and a three-time member of the Academic All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference Team. Dubois was named to the 2019 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll.
Born in Baltimore, Md., Dubois earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management with honors from Guilford College in 2019. In 2021 she earned a master’s of education in educational leadership with a focus in athletic administration from the University of North Florida.
