Delaware Continues Fall Schedule with Navy Day Regatta Exhibition

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Delaware women's rowing team continued its fall exhibition schedule Saturday as the Blue Hens participated in the Navy Day Regatta on the Schuylkill River.
The first race UD participated in was the Collegiate Fours final where the Blue Hens finished 17thwith a time of 18:11.87.
Kevin GruberThe second race of the day for Delaware was the Collegiate JV Eights event where the Blue Hens had three teams competing.
The Delaware A squad registered a fourth place finish with a time of 15:29.65, while the UD B team came in just seconds behind with a 15:52.58 time and fifth place finish. The Blue Hen C team finished seventh in the event and recorded a time of 16:02.00.
In the Blue Hens' final event of the Navy Day Regatta, Delaware tallied a fifth place finish in the Collegiate Eights with a 14:50.34 mark.

The team will return to action at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, October 25.
