· Senior Chelsea Fay has scored at least one goal in 38 straight contests.
· In her first season at Delaware, sophomore Casey Lyons leads the team with 45 points on a team-best 17 assists and 28 goals.
· Tori Zorovich is making a statement in her senior season, as she is 7-1 with 7.73 goals allowed per game and 63 total saves in 535 minutes played.
SERIES INFORMATION
· Delaware leads the all-time series, 17-10, over Hofstra since the inaugural matchup in 1979.
· The two teams have traded victories in the last four contests, with each squad winning on its home turf.
· The Hens are 7-6 against the Pride on the road and last won in New York during the 2008 season.
· Last season, UD narrowly defeated HU, 7-5, at Delaware Stadium. Kateri Linville is in her fourth season with her alma mater and currently holds a career record of 31-31.
· Shannon Smith, a three-time first-team lacrosse All-American who is among the most decorated players in the sport, is now in her second season as the head coach at Hofstra and holds an all-time record of 16-14 with the Pride.
ABOUT HOFSTRA
The Pride was chosen to finish third in the preseason CAA poll, but currently hold a record of 5-7 overall and 0-1 in league play. Hofstra looks to break a five-game losing skid after most recently falling to Towson, 9-5, Friday evening in its CAA opener. Brittain Altomare leads the Pride with 48 points on 25 goals and 23 assists while Emily Considine and Sam Lenox have tallied 12 goals apiece. April Iannetta holds the team lead with 49 draw controls in addition to 21 groundballs. Goalie Kelsey Gregerson has started all 12 games for HU and played a total of 710 minutes in the cage. Gregerson has collected 92 saves while allowing 8.12 goals per game.
