POST-MEET QUOTES
Head Coach Wendy McFarlane
“It was a great day and the girls did an outstanding job working together and staying in a pack towards the end. Monmouth is one of the best teams in the region, so it was good for us to compete with them. Liz McGroarty coming in first place is a good step for her. We're getting better and stronger as the seasons goes on.”
Sophomore Liz McGroarty
“We went in today to really work as a team and we did really well. We stuck together and worked together instead of against each other. Personally, I knew I had to keep Monmouth in sight throughout the race. I knew I had the finishing speed and I was able to sprint past them at the end.”
