Blue Hen Rowing Opens Fall Season at Navy Day Regatta

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.-- The University of Delaware women's rowing team opened its fall exhibition schedule Saturday, Oct. 10 as the Blue Hens participated in the Navy Day Regatta on the Schuylkill River.
The first race UD participated in was the Collegiate Fours final where the Blue Hens finished 3rd with a time of 16:01.35.
The second race of the day for Delaware was the Collegiate JV Eights event where the Blue Hens had three teams competing.
The Delaware A squad registered a sixth place finish with a time of 14:55.40, while the UD B team came in just seconds behind with a 15:06.75 time and an eighth place finish. The Blue Hen C team finished 13th in the event and recorded a time of 15:54.27.
In the Blue Hens' final event of the Navy Day Regatta, Delaware tallied a third place finish in the Collegiate Eights with a 14:09.50 mark.
