Delaware Wraps Up Season with CAA Championship Sunday

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Following a strong performance in last weekend's Dad Vail Regatta, the University of Delaware rowing team will look to finish its season with a conference championship as the Blue Hens will compete in the Colonial Athletic Association Championship Sunday on Mercer Lake.
Kevin GruberNortheastern is the defending champion, while Delaware, Buffalo, Drexel and Eastern Michigan round out the five-team field.
In last year's event, the Blue Hens posted their best finish since 2010 as UD finished in fourth place in the final standings.
At the conclusion of the championship, the CAA will announce postseason awards, which will include All-CAA selections as well as the Coach of the Year and the All-CAA academic team.
The races are scheduled to begin a 10:10 a.m. Sunday with the Third Varsity Eights to kickoff the competition on Mercer Lake.
