Six Delaware Rowers Earn CRCA Scholar Athlete Award

NEWARK, Del. – Six University of Delaware rowers received Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar Athlete accolades, the organization announced Thursday.
Olivia Brady, Denise Cirelli, Molly Gardner, Megan Kirby, Jamie Noce, and Hannah Scholes each received awards for their success in the classroom.
Kevin GruberThe qualifications for the award include student-athletes must have rowed in her institution's NCAA eligible boat(s) for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races or racing in a regional conference event and maintained a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher for her career.
Scholes and Cirelli also received recognition for their performance on the water as the duo was named to the All-CAA team.
