Tina Martin“It is absolutely huge when you can grab a win on the road in this conference. I can't say enough about our effort this afternoon. Our defense was terrific and the kids did a great job following the game plan. To hold William & Mary to 53 points on their home court is tremendous. Offensively, we shared the ball well and our shooters were knocking it down. I'm happy with this win, but we have to keep climbing. The journey doesn't get any easier over the next few weeks.”
Junior Erika Brown
[On playing more minutes with injury to Jodi Salyer]: “At times I do get tired, but I suck it up and play through it. The adrenaline is flowing; so I'm good and usually get a second win.
[On playing against the shot clock]: “Earlier in the season, I was rushing it. I've learned to take my time reading the defense, seeing how my defender is playing me and being aware of how much time is on the shot clock.”
