“This was a great team effort. Every single player contributed to our success today. The energy on and off the field was fantastic. CAA play is a good time to make a statement. We did a great job in terms of taking care of the ball and playing to win. We really pushed the pace on them. No doubt we still have ways to get better, but we're taking risks and learning and getting better from that. This has been our best outing to date and I think that'll keep us inspired throughout the week.”
Senior Co-Captain Coley Ricci
“The locker room had a different vibe today and I think that really showed on the field. This is the best time of the year, as you can't take any team lightly in the CAA. We really came together in the second half and everyone played their roles. We rallied around each other from every spot on the field. Everyone executed the way they were suppose to and it showed on the scoreboard.”
Senior Jamie Schwartz
“We said our season would re-set today and it's great to enter conference play 1-0. You can't underestimate anyone in the CAA and we take all of our opponents seriously. We came into the game with the mindset that each game from here on out is our championship and to get this large of a victory is awesome. This was a true team win.”
