The Blue Hens received hat tricks from four different players and clinched a spot in the upcoming CAA Tournament last Saturday afternoon with their 16-9 victory over Drexel at Vidas Field. Megan Santoleri led the way by tallying her second straight game with a career-high four goals to go along with a draw control and caused turnover. Becky Gohsler added her eighth hat trick of the season with three goals and registered a career-best six draw controls to eclipse 100 draw controls for her career. The midfielder also contributed game-highs of three ground balls and three caused turnovers. Kirsten Hale and Caroline Farley also recorded three goals apiece while Jamie Schwartz and Mia DeRuggiero tallied two goals each. Delaware (9-7, 4-2 CAA) led, 8-7, at halftime before outscoring the Dragons (7-9, 2-4), 8-2, in the second half for the win.
· A two-time All-American at James Madison, Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe returned to her alma mater prior to the 2007 season and is in her 11th year at the helm of the Dukes. The back-to-back CAA Coach of the Year, Klaes-Bawcombe holds a mark of 124-72 and is JMU's all-time winningest coach.

· The Dukes received the top spot in the 2017 CAA Tournament following a 5-1 campaign in league play.
· JMU most recently captured the 2015 CAA Tournament title and is 33-13 (.717) all-time in the postseason tournament.
· The Dukes are looking to make their fourth straight berth into the CAA championship game and 16th overall.
· Haley Warden was named the CAA Player of the Year while Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe brought home Coach of the Year honors.
· Warden is third in the CAA and 12th nationally with 2.35 caused turnovers per game. She is also third in the league with 3.29 draw controls and 2.76 ground balls per.
· James Madison had seven individuals garner All-CAA accolades, including three First Team members.
· Katie Kerrigan leads the Dukes with 51 points on 15 goals and a team-best 36 assists while Kristen Gaudian is second with 48 points and a team-leading 42 goals and six assists.
· In the cage, Emily Poelma has registered a 9.09 GAA with 6.29 saves per game at a clip of .467.
