Collin Goss To Compete With USA East Coast Squad in Venice

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware rising junior Collin Goss will compete with the USA East Coast squad during a week-long trip to Venice, Italy in early August.

Goss is one of 12 college players on the team, which also includes players from Kansas, SMU, Columbia, Purdue, South Carolina, UNCG, Abilene Christian and Colorado. Naismith Hall of Famer Larry Brown will serve as the squad's head coach.

The USA East Coast team will play four games on four consecutive days in Venice, beginning with a 6 p.m. clash against Germany on Friday, Aug. 3. The team will then take on Italy the following night at 8 p.m. and the Netherlands on Sunday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. The trip concludes against the Vicenza Select Italy squad on Monday, Aug. 6 at 8 p.m.

Goss, a 6-11 forward from Manassas, Va., sat out last season as a redshirt after transferring to Delaware from George Washington in the summer of 2017. He will have two years of eligibility with the Blue Hens beginning this fall.
