Eric Carter Named to NABC All-District Second Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Blue Hen senior forward Eric Carter was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) District 10 second team, the organization announced on Thursday.
Carter (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) appeared in and started all but one game for Delaware this season, leading the team with 9.7 rebounds per game and a 57.9 field goal percentage while ranking second with a 15.8 scoring average. He reached double figures in all but four of his appearances, including 29 points in the season-opener at Maryland and a career-high 33 in the win over Saint Francis (PA).
Carter posted 13 double-doubles on the season, tied for second in the CAA and 29th in Division I. He also ranked second in the league and 23rd in the nation in rebounding, fourth in the conference in field goal percentage, and 11th in scoring.
A second team All-CAA selection, Carter finished his career ranked third in Blue Hen history with a 55.7 field goal percentage, sixth with 818 rebounds and 28th with 1087 points.
Carter is the seventh player in program history to earn NABC All-District honors, and the first since Devon Saddler and Davon Usher in 2014.
