• Delaware returns to action following an 11-day break and wraps up its non-conference schedule against Iona.
• The game is the Blue Hens only contest during an 18-day stretch from Dec. 11 through Dec. 28.
• The Blue Hens have won five straight games, their longest streak since winning seven in a row from Jan. 18-Feb. 13, 2020.
• UD wrapped up a stretch of nine games in 19 days from Nov. 22-Dec. 10, winning seven of those nine contests.
• The Blue Hens are coming off a 94-55 win over Division III Moravian on Dec. 10. Dylan Painter recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Jameer Nelson, Jr. added 17 points and five assists.
• Ryan Allen scored 13 points and hit four three-pointers, becoming the program's career leader in three-pointers made.
• Allen has scored 1,588 career points and needs 12 more to reach the 1,600 mark.
• Logan Curtis, who entered the game with two points on the season, went 3 of 3 from behind the arc to finish with nine points.
• Delaware has opened 9-3 or better for the 12th time in program history. A win tonight would also make the Blue Hens 10-3 for the 12th time in program history.
• Iona leads the all-time series with Delaware, 5-1. However the Blue Hens took the last meeting, 63-54, in Newark on Dec. 28, 2016.
• Delaware-Iona is one of two Division I games on Tuesday in which both teams have at least nine wins, along with Kansas-Colorado.
