Women's Lacrosse Falls At Saint Joseph's, 19-6

PHILADELPHIA – Delaware women's lacrosse dropped a 19-6 decision to Saint Joseph's at Sweeney Field Wednesday afternoon.
The Blue Hens fell to 1-4 overall while the Hawks improved to 3-3 this season.
Sophomore attack Lizzie Hsu led Delaware with a pair of goals and an assist in her first appearance of the season.
Sophomore Mae Dickens, freshman Kellie Ann Matey, and juniors Danika Swech and Meghan Johnson each found the net for the Blue Hens as well, while junior Kendra Schweizer tallied an assist.
Saint Joseph's led 12-2 after halftime, but the Hens opened the second half with two quick goals from Hsu and Johnson within just over two minutes. The Hawks closed the game on a 4-2 run to seal the win.
Delaware returns to action Sunday, March 21 when they host Coastal Carolina at noon from Delaware Stadium.
