Blue Hens 12th After Day One of White Sands Invitational

Nassau, Bahamas – The Delaware men's golf team wrapped up day one of the White Sands Invitational in the Bahamas on Friday afternoon.
They currently sit at +13 and in 12th place after the first round of match play, posting a round of 274 on the par 72, 7,159-yard Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island in Nassau. Arkansas State leads the 12-team field with a -14 mark.
Sparky Ariyachatvakin, who carded four birdies on the day, is tied for 23rd after firing a 71 in the opening round, good for -1. Casper Nerpin scored a 74 to finish at +2 for the day, tied for 48th.
Owen Manchester, playing as an individual, sits at +5 after scoring a 77 in the opening round.
Round two begins tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
