NEWARK, Del. – Delaware field hockey (3-8, 1-1 CAA) returns to action for a pair of games this weekend.
The Blue Hens travel to Williamsburg, Va. to take on Colonial Conference Association Foe No. 20 William & Mary (7-4, 1-0 CAA) on Friday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. Following Friday's match, Delaware returns to Rullo Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. to take on non-conference opponent No. 13 Old Dominion (7-2).

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- UD is coming off a pair of wins last weekend against CAA opponent Drexel and non-conference foe Columbia.
- The Blue Hens are tied for third in the CAA standings, with Monmouth, at 1-1. Monmouth owns the head-to-head tiebreaker.
- After scoring two goals this past weekend, Julia Duffhuis is tied for the team lead in goals at four with Noelle Sabbagh. The two are tied for seven in the CAA in goals scored.
- Kiki Oudshoorn leads the Blue Hens in assists with four. The mark is tied for fourth in the CAA.
- Lizzie Gaebel has seven saves and allowed two goals over the past two games.
- Friday will be the 32nd matchup between the Blue Hens and the Tribe. UD owns a 21-10 series lead, including a current three-game win streak. The Blue Hens defeated the Tribe 3-1 back on Nov. 5, 2021.
- Sunday will be the 19th matchup between the Blue Hens and Monarchs. UD defeated Old Dominion 4-0 in Norfolk, Va. back on Aug. 27, 2021. This is the first time the Blue Hens have hosted the Monarchs since Oct. 25, 2015.
