Glanden delivered a two-run single and Kisamore added a run-scoring double to make it 14-0 before Christian was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to force home another run. Bailey White entered the game and delivered her first career hit, singling home Kisamore before Julz Garber again went to the opposite field, this time for a grand slam. Her first home run of the season extended Delaware's lead to 20-0.
Lehigh plated single runs in the second and third innings as both sides made numerous substitutions. Shank got the final outs in the fifth inning as Delaware came away with the run-rule victory.
