Men’s Basketball Announces 2023-24 Non-Conference Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's basketball non-conference schedule has been announced. The 13-game non-conference schedule features four home contests, five road games, and four neutral site competitions.
The Hens begin the campaign on the road at Bucknell in the season opener on Monday, November 6. The Bison are led by first-year head coach John Griffin III.
Delaware returns to the first state for a pair of home games as Goldey-Beacom (Wednesday, November 8) and Air Force (Sunday, November 12) make the voyage to the Bob Carpenter Center.
UD then begins eight-straight games away from home, starting with Delaware bragging rights on the line in a battle against Delaware State on Wednesday, November 15.
A quick trip down to the Caribbean follows, as the Hens have three games as part of the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. UD starts with Brown on Friday, November 24. Delaware's other two opponents for Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26 will be determined by the results of the field.
After arriving back stateside, the Hens venture to Ohio for a pair of games at Ohio U. (Saturday, December 2) and Xavier (Tuesday, December 5).
Six days later, the Blue & Gold will head to Pittsburgh to take on Robert Morris on Monday, December 11. Competition away from the Bob concludes with a previously announced neutral site game against Rhode Island on Saturday, December 16 as part of the Holiday Hoopfest at UBS Arena.
Non-conference play wraps up with a pair of rematches from a season ago. Rider (Wednesday, December 20) and Princeton (Saturday, December 30) head to Newark around the holidays to complete the home-and-home series.
Season ticket memberships start at $155 for men's basketball and $85 for women's basketball. Season ticket member benefits include tickets to every home game at the lowest price per game, extra tickets for family and friends at no additional cost, and complimentary parking. You save even more when you buy both seasons! Season ticket discounts are also available to UD Faculty & Staff, UD Alumni and families of four or more.
