NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Men's Golf Head Coach Brendon Post has announced the men's golf schedule for the upcoming 2025 spring season. The Blue Hens will play four tournaments as they prepare for the CAA Championship in late April. The full schedule can be seen here.
Delaware will open its spring campaign at the Surf Club Invitational (Mar. 10-11), hosted by Appalachian State University in Myrle Beach, South Carolina. This will be UD's fourth-straight year playing in the tournament. The Blue Hens placed fifth at the Surf Club Invitational last season behind a top-10 finish by Arsit Areephun.
The Blue & Gold will head south again for the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate (Mar. 23-25), hosted by the University of South Alabama. The three-day tournament will be held in Mobile, Alabama.
A busy April will open with the short trip to Ijamsville, Maryland for the Testudo Cup (Apr. 5-6), hosted by the University of Maryland.
The Blue Hens will wrap up their regular season the following weekend when they travel north for the Rutherford Intercollege (Apr. 12-13), hosted by Penn State in State College, Pennsylvania. This will be their third-straight season competing in the tournament, finishing eighth last spring as Areephun tied for eighth overall.
The 2025 CAA Championship will be held April 20-22 at The Union League Golf Club in Swainton, New Jersey. The Blue Hens will look to improve upon their fifth-place finish from a season ago.
Delaware is coming off a successful fall campaign, recording four top-five showings in its five tournaments. The Blue Hens started the season with back-to-back runner-up finishes at the Bryan National Collegiate and the River Run Collegiate, while closing the fall with a third-place result at the Nassau Intercollegiate. Areephun and Egor Zubov lead the squad with two top-10 finishes apiece with 11 combined rounds at or under par.
