- Robinson became the eighth member of the Blue Hens' 200-point club.
- Kevin Ellington finished with a career-high 15 saves on the day.
- Matt Acchione scored his first goal of the season on an assist from his brother Cam Acchione.
- Logan Premtaj scooped up a team-high four ground balls.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Robinson continued his hot start to the season as the Canadian put the Hens on the board first at the 9:04 mark for his 14th goal of the year. Penn responded with back-to-back goals from Luke DiNola and Cam Rubin to take a 2-1 lead after the first period. Penn extended its lead to 3-1 in the second quarter on a goal from Gabe Furrey, but the Delaware offense came to life with goals from freshman Tyler Owings and sophomore transfer Hank D'Ambrogi just 33 seconds apart to knot the game at three apiece. The back-and-forth action continued as the two squads traded blows for the rest of the quarter, but it was the Blue & Gold who took a 6-4 lead into the locker room after Robinson and Ward each found the back of the Quakers' net to cap off a five-goal quarter for the Hens.
- In the third, Brendan Powers gave Delaware a three-goal lead on John McCurry's second assist of the year, but the Quakers responded with their own five-goal quarter and took a 9-7 lead into the fourth. Now down by a pair, Kolar took action into his own hands as the junior middy netted two straight unassisted goals to tie the game at 9-9 with 9:41 left in regulation. Penn responded once again with goals in both the ninth and third minutes to once again take a two-goal advantage. Down by two with one minute left, a Penn turnover gave the Hens possession and after a UD timeout, Ward put the Hens within one with his second goal of the contest. With 13 seconds left, Premtaj won the faceoff, picked up the ground ball, and handed it off to Robinson who came within inches of tying the game in the final seconds as his shot ricocheted off the left post followed by the final horn.
