Blue Hens Continue Fall Schedule at Head of the Schuylkill Regatta

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The University of Delaware Rowing team continued its fall schedule Saturday as the Blue Hens participated in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on the Schuylkill River.
The strongest performance of the day was a fourth place finish by Delaware's lone entry in the Championship 8+ event. The crew recorded a time of 14:58.87.
In the Club 8+ race, UD had three crews competing. The best time was recorded by Delaware's “A” crew with a time of 15:39.21, which landed them a sixth place finish. The “B” crew finished in 17th place with a time of 16:05.34, while the “C” crew garnered a time of 17:05.04, which was good for 35th place in the race.

The Blue Hens will return to action this Saturday for their final race of the fall schedule as UD takes part in the Head of the Occoquan Regatta at the Occoquan Reservoir in Fairfax, Va.
