The loss halts a six-game winning streak and is just the second of the season for Delaware (8-2). The Hens, who were ranked 22nd nationally coming into the game with 12.56 goals per contest, were held to less than 10 goals for the first time this year.

Gohsler added a game-high four draw controls, which ties a career-high for the midfielder.
Senior Erin Wein (Middletown, Md./Middletown) led the Blue Hens with four caused turnovers for the second straight game to go along with two groundballs.
In the cage, sophomore Taylor Carpentier (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) collected four saves in the loss.
Kateri Linville“This was a hard-fought game against a very physical team. Lacrosse is often a game of momentum and I thought our resiliency showed in second half. For the second time this season we were in a position to tie the score and believed we could win the game against a ranked opponent. Positioning a win is the first step to breaking into the Top 20 while execution is the second step. Today's competition will make us a better team.”
