“This senior class is extremely talented. It's hard, we've had some tough breaks over the season but we've competed with everybody in the country. When push came to shove and our backs were against the wall, our seniors stepped up and showed this team how to win in a pressure situation.”
Senior Elyse Andrews
“This day meant absolutely everything to me. The B+ Foundation and all the B+ Heroes inspire me every day, so to have them here on such a big day, my last home game of senior year and getting my second career goal, just meant everything to me. This win is huge; it really speaks of our team. We are just one big family and we had so many people contribute today. It just gave us that spark to end our home game with a bang and hopefully we'll have more games to come in the next few weeks.”
Senior Abby Wheble
“Today was awesome. For the seniors, this was a super special day with it being the B+ Foundation game and wrapping up our whole season, which was dedicated to all of our loved ones who have had cancer. It's also really big for the seniors as it was our last game at home. I think that overtime game at Hofstra and where we are right now shows the heart of our team. This group of seniors wants nothing more than to keep playing together and I think our backs were against the wall and we knew what we had to do and did everything we could to get it done.”
