Delaware Rowing 4+ Places First at Head of the Schuylkill Regatta

PHILADELPHIA -- The University of Delaware women's rowing team returned to Phiadelphia last Saturday for the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta and placed two crews on the medal dock.
The Delaware 'A' 4+ boat finished first (16:11.48) ahead of the other 40 crews in the Championship Fours event while Delaware's freshman boat finished third (17:46.62) in the Collegiate Freshman/Novice event.
All four Championship 4+ boats finished in the Topo 20 overall, including a fifth place finish (16:53.56) for Delaware's 'B' 4+ boat. The Delaware 'A' 8+ boat finished 15th (16:58.84) in the Club Championship Eights event.
Delaware returns to the river for its final fall race this Saturday when the Blue Hens competed in the Head of the Occoquan (Va.0 Regatta.
