Offensive Attack Leads Hens to 18-8 Win Over Oregon

NEWARK, Del. – The Blue Hens made multiple new entries into the program record book Wednesday evening as UD cruised to the 18-8 victory against Oregon at Delaware Stadium.
Delaware grabbed the first goal of the game and quickly took hold of the game's momentum. The Hens finished the first half with a stadium-record 13 goals and led the Ducks, 13-6, at the break.
UD captured a 10-goal advantage halfway through the second period and never looked back en route to their second straight and fifth overall win of the year.
Mia DeRuggiero led the Hens with 10 points on one goal and a career-high-tying nine assists. Her 10 points is good to tie for first in Delaware Stadium history.
Caroline Farley added a program- and Delaware Stadium record 12 draw controls for the second time in three games to go along with her four goals, two assists and two ground balls.
Christine Long logged her fourth straight game with a hat trick and finished with a season-best six points on five goals and one assist.
