NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware men's tennis team celebrated a sunny Senior Day with a sweep against George Mason on Friday afternoon. The Blue Hens crushed the Patriots, 7-0.

Karol Malirz and Alexandre Gluck were recognized for their massive contributions to the program during their careers.

On the season, the Blue Hens now stand at an overall record of 13-8 and CAA record of 3-0.

ON THE RECORD
"Today was all about the seniors and recognizing their college careers," head coach Marc Pibernat said. "The team did a great job coming together and getting the job done for our seniors and captains Alexandre Gluck and Karol Malirz. A special mention to Alex for tying the all-time singles wins for the University of Delaware at 73. This is a huge accomplishment and speaks volumes of his contributions to the team. We are looking forward to the CAA Championships next week at Elon."

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Gluck is currently tied with program alumni Luis Molina and Troy Beneck for university high at 73 career singles wins.
All matches ended in straight sets for the Hens.
Rounding out the regular season, the team's record sits at 13-8 after this win.
