WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The University of Delaware men's tennis team emerged victorious from their conference battle against William & Mary on Saturday afternoon, 6-1.Â
On the season, the Blue Hens now stand at an overall record of 12-6 and CAA record of 3-0.Â
ON THE RECORDÂ
"The team did an excellent job bouncing right back from a yesterday tough loss to VCU in a thriller of a match," head coach Marc Pibernat said. "Regardless of the score being 6-1, we had to go dig on every match to get the dub. This win is very important for us as we are 3-0 in the conference and that puts us in a great position for the CAA Championship. A special shoutout to Tobey Lock for clinching both doubles and singles."Â
HEN HIGHLIGHTSÂ
- Alexandre Gluck earned his 71st singles win of his career, putting him two away from breaking the program record of 73 career singles win.
