No. 18 Men's Lacrosse Hosts No. 15 Towson in Regular Season Finale

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's lacrosse team gets set for its biggest test to date as the Blue Hens host No. 15-ranked Towson on Friday night in Delaware Stadium for the regular season finale and decide who is the outright regular season champion. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

Delaware Stadium will certainly be buzzing Friday night, as the back-to-back CAA champs will celebrate their alumni with a halftime recognition ceremony. This year is the 40th anniversary of the 1984 Delaware men's lacrosse team's run to the program's first ever NCAA tournament appearance. Led by former head coach Bob Shillinglaw, the 1984 version of the Blue Hens went 12-4 and captured the East Coast Conference title to advance to the NCAA Tournament. The Hens fell to eventual national champion Johns Hopkins in the opening round in Baltimore.
